One of my favorite entrepreneurs and philanthropists is Dolly Parton.

She’s starred in major motion pictures, had 50 Grammy nominations as well as 11 Grammy wins.

She’s penned 3,000 songs for various artists including the incandescent Whitney Houston rendition of “I Will Always Love You”.

She is a courageous and visionary entrepreneur who famously turned down Elvis and Colonel Parker request for half the publishing rights should Elvis record it.

She navigated the tricky path of success and significance.
