Why Ownership Matters

August 31, 2021

Business ownership in the U.S. is on a tear! According to a CBS news article dated February 8, 2021, 4.5 million new business applications were filed in 2020. That’s a 24% increase over 2019.

As a business owner, myself, I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs and individuals build on successes and avoid mistakes that derail them from achieving their goals. It’s why I created a consortium of business owners called Your Executive Symphony (YES), and it’s why I run my practice with the business owner in mind.

To improve myself and my business, I recently graduated from intensive and rewarding Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. In this program, not only did I learn ways to improve my own business practices, I met other business owners and learned more about their needs.

There are unique financial implications of owning your own business vs. being an employee. As both an owner and financial professional, I understand the need for assets and cash flow to be agile and resilient to accommodate changing needs. Because I live in the same scenarios of other business owners, I have built my practice around customized financial plans that are aligned to the needs of the business owner. I have created a philosophy of understanding your unique needs. I call this knowing your SCORE.

Over the last few years, I have received recognition in my field. For the third year in a row, I was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Texas Monthly. I have also been recognized by Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc. (BFCFS) as a member of their Executive Council.

The recognition is always nice, but I’m most grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with my clients and be part of their success stories. Often, clients don’t even know what’s possible for their assets, cash flow and financial future until we put together a plan built just for them.

Curious what may be possible for you?

Let’s talk.

2021 Five Star Wealth Manager

Once again, I am honored to be named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Texas Monthly. Nearly 4,000 Dallas-Fort Worth wealth managers were considered for the award; ten percent of these candidates were named 2021 Five Star Wealth Managers. Being recognized is always nice, but the real blessing is serving families and helping them on the path to fiscal harmony in their lives.
