As we continue to bring you monthly updates and tasks regarding how to keep your family safe from cyber theft, this month we are going to focus on our phone.
It has recently come to our attention that cell phones are being duplicated and two factor authentication codes being retrieved.
It’s isolated; but has happened. The goal is to be able to lock, secure and if necessary, erase the phone remotely.
Here are a few tips to keep your phone safe:
1. Don’t leave your phone unattended.
2. Activate find my phone features.
It’s typically found in device settings; Iphone and Android are a little different.
3. You will also need any pertinent log ins with apple IDs, google log ins etc. so that you can log in and take the above steps.
